The intricacies of security deposit rules and regulations can be complex for many landlords and tenants, and disputes can easily escalate due to misunderstandings.

Our Security Deposit Matters service provides you with valuable information, coaching, mediation or other negotiation assistance to help you proceed quickly and smoothly toward a resolution of your security deposit problems.
How We Help
- We educate you about correct security deposit procedures
- We coach you to help carry out the best strategy for getting the resolution you want on your security deposit case
- We provide the necessary forms and help you use them in order to initiate formal procedures and expedite resolution of security deposit disputes
- We contact the other party involved in the dispute to explore the possible use of mediation or other ways to negotiate a solution
Cost:
The fee for this service is a one time $75 - $125 (based on a sliding-scale), payable in advance by the client who initiates contact with MFR.
